Mayan Warrior is hosting their final fundraiser at the place where they debuted their first West Coast event: Los Angeles.
The event will take place on October 28, 2023, at Grand Park, where the famed Burning Man camp held their first West Coast fundraiser in 2017.
This was also where the electronic music mainstay first partnered with Stranger Than; five years ago to produce a series of fundraising events for their return to Burning Man along with their first shows off the Playa.
Mayan Warrior is a team from Mexico City that grew from a Burning Man art car into a successful brand highlighting local Mexican talent and underground staples.
But the art car was tragically lost in a fire earlier this year meaning the end of an era for the close-knit Mayan Warrior community after ten years.
This final spooky fundraiser will bid farewell to a longstanding music event organization that brought together burners and music lovers alike both on and off the Playa.
Mayan Warrior Halloween is part of a series of yet-to-be-announced Halloween events from Stranger Than; that will take place in LA.
