The four-part series from director Warren Fu and producer Wyan Reichenfeld is available now on YouTube. The film shares the story of how the previously unreleased 2013 demo with Julian Casablancas and The Voidz was uncovered, eventually landing on Daft Punk’s recent 10th anniversary edition of Random Access Memories.
The Making of Infinity Repeating is the third documentary film series that Daft Punk have shared this year. In June, the pair released a five-part documentary about their collaborators on Random Access Memories.
Since the legendary duo split up in 2021, members Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manual de Homem-Christo have still managed to put out plenty of new material.
As a follow-up to the anniversary edition of Random Access Memories—which featured 35 minutes of previously unreleased tunes—Daft Punk also released a special drumless edition of the album last month.
Following the group’s recent post-mortem return to the spotlight, rumors that Daft Punk would reunite at the 2024 Paris Olympics were confirmed to be false in October.
