Colombian DJ Fronter has passed away

On Tuesday, November 15th, 2023.

In a tragic event that deeply saddened the electronic music community, Jhonatan Andres, widely known as DJ Fronter, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, November 15th, 2023. The DJ and producer, originally from Colombia, reportedly lost his life due to a fentanyl overdose in the United States.

DJ Fronter was scheduled to perform this Saturday, November 18th, in Mexico City. The after-party planned to feature the artist as the main act following the performance of Spanish DJ and producer Paco Osuna.

Born on June 20, 1991, in Santiago de Cali, DJ Fronter played a significant role in the Colombian electronic music scene. His tracks resonated with figures in the industry such as Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Marco Carola, and Blond:ish, solidifying his position in the electronic beat and tech house movement in Latin America.

DJ Fronter was  32 years old.
