The stunning and now 21-year-strong Caprices Festival plays out across two weekends from 29-31 March and 5-7 April in the beautiful Swiss mountains in a resort called Crans-Montana. The music is across several stages split across day and night, each with its own carefully curated sound and bespoke look — aside from the music there is a wealth of sport, culture, cuisine and exploration to do making it a real must for music, culture and travel lovers.
Here are the best acts to catch this year:
Chris Stussy
A real hero of the contemporary house scene, Stussy is a Dutchman who came up on PIV Records and now runs his own Up The Stussy label. He has a class sound that manages to be deep, spaced out and driving and it traverses the highs and lows of tech, minimal and electro.
Seth Troxler
Detroit icon Seth Troxler always delivers his famous subversive sounds with real passion. He drops curveballs, freaky afters techno, wonky house and plenty in between always with great character so he is not one to miss.
Sven Väth
Sven’s Cocoon label is legendary in the techno world and at this year’s event it will host its own special stage to mark its 25th year in the game. Expect Sven to bring some classics as well as future gems.
Sonja Moonear
One of the most in demand and reliable DJs on the circuit, Sonja Moonear can do it all from big time bangers to more sleek and stripped back sounds. She places with style and control and will no doubt have some special tricks up her sleeve, too.
Fleur Shore
Birmingham’s Fleur was picked out as one of the Radio One Stars of 2023 alongside the likes of Interplanetary Criminal, Honeyluv and DJ Heartstring. She has made her name with a much talked about residency at Lab11 for parties like TRMNL and has dropped her ever evolving sounds on Cuttin’ Headz, Tamango and FRAME Music.
