In celebration of the 25th anniversary of The Prodigy‘s groundbreaking third studio album, ‘The Fat Of The Land,’ XL Recordings has announced a 4-track remix package.

The special edition silver 12″ vinyl and digital formats, ‘The Fat Of The Land 25th Anniversary – Remixes’ will feature a lineup of exclusive new versions from  Mefjus and Camo & Krooked, Gydra, and René LaVice, alongside the iconic ‘Firestarter’ remix by Andy C from last year.

Upon its original release in 1997, ‘The Fat of the Land’ captivated the world, swiftly ascending to the top of album charts worldwide and selling over 10 million copies to date. The explosive single ‘Firestarter,’ featuring Keith Flint on vocals for the first time, set the stage for the album’s success. The accompanying groundbreaking music video, directed by Walter Stern and filmed deep beneath the streets of London, recently received a remastered version, now officially available in HD for the first time.

The Prodigy is scheduled to perform at several European festivals this summer, with an upcoming headline tour in autumn.

To commemorate this news, the acclaimed DJ/producer René LaVice, well-known for his years hosting Radio One’s drum and bass show, has released his remix of ‘Mindfields’ today, adding his signature touch to the beloved track. Listen below.
