Decibel Open Air is set to take place in the idyllic city of Florence, Italy. 50,000 people are expected to attend and it is a supersized experience unlike any other. It is held in the world-famous Visarno Arena and will likely be bathed in sun, with non-stop outdoor dancing expected!
Visarno Arena is located inside the Visarno Hippodrome, in Florence’s Cascine Park, and is surrounded by greenery. Decibel Open Air has a cosmopolitan crowd from all over Europe and ahead of this year’s festival we’re highlighting five artists that will be key to the strong atmosphere you can expect at the festival.

Paul Kalkbrenner
This epic German DJ and producer is known for his unique blend of techno and house music. He is a real superstar back home who has starred in a movie and always brings the most epic of shows drenched in machine soul!
Peggy Gou
A bonafide world super star, Korean Peggy Gou makes her own brand of catchy and hooky dance music with deep grooves and great vocals. She plays electric sets that span across the spectrum and so is not one to be missed.
Amelie Lens
Amelie Lens embodies new school European techno: big, loud and proud. The Belgian always goes full throttle through techno, electro, acid, breaks and EBM and switches up the rhythm just enough to keep things on the move even if the pace is high.
Loco Dice B2b Jamie Jones
These two are legends of the game who play big sets of house and chunky techno funk. They are Ibiza mainstays and going back to back are sure to draw out the very best from one another. Under the sun in Italy this is sure to be a special one.
Camelphat
This UK house duo has gone from the underground to world domination and even a GRAMMY nomination in recent years. They play big, catchy house grooves with great vocals and sunny synths and are sure to sound great in Italy.
