Sonic Bloom Celebrates Nearly Two Decades With Stunning Phase 2 Lineup Drop

Sonic Bloom Festival just added to its stacked festival June 15-18 in Colorado with even more diverse artists in its phase two lineup drop.

Joining the already star-powered list is Excision-backed bass artist and activist A Hundred Drums, known for supporting GRiZ, G Jones, and Subtronics at their highly-acclaimed shows.

Also heading to the gorgeous mountain venue in 2023 are Cualli, St4rfox, Justin Roots, Lauren Joy, Shiloh, Project Aspect, and so many more talented names.

Phase one was extremely diverse with previously announced headliners like space-bass queen CloZee, fan-favorite Lotus, the multitalented Rome in Silver, Dirtybird regular Nala, and garage innovator Alix Perez, plus Tiedye Ky with a live band, TVBOO, and INZO.

Sonic Bloom is not just a music festival, it’s a transformative art and culture event that brings together members of the community to the stunning natural region of Hummingbird Ranch. The festival has been held at this picturesque location since 2015 and continues to treat the land with the same care it has given its festival goers.

Sonic Bloom strives to be zero waste, working together with ZeroHero to make their vendors and event as low waste as possible.

Composting, using biodiesel generators to power the stages and other equipment, using sustainable materials for its art installation, and encouraging sustainable agriculture with its “Permaculture Day” are only a few of the actions the festival takes in order to put on the greenest event feasible.

Check out the full phase two lineup drop below and tickets to Sonic Bloom from June 15-18 at Hummingbird Ranch in Colorado are still available on their website here.

6-8 September 2024
The Source, Marrakech, Morocco
3-day festival pass: £158.20 / €179
Tickets on sale now at oasis.ma

This September Oasis Festival returns to the city where it all started, taking over luxury music resort The Source in Marrakech from September 6 – 8 2024. Today, the pioneering Moroccan festival unveils the first wave of acts lined up for the ultimate North African escape, including Laurent Garnier, Jungle, Amine K, HAAi, Jyoty, and TSHA.
For almost a decade now Oasis has been the ultimate destination festival, authentically shining a light on Morocco and inviting global festivalgoers to dance somewhere different. After two years on the road with ‘Oasis: Into the Wild’, introducing adventurous music fans to explore lesser known regions of the country, Oasis is now returning to one of the festival’s best-loved locations, with yet another world-class lineup of artists.
Wonderfully indulgent resort The Source, with its lush gardens, winding walkways, and azure pools, is nestled in a two-acre site just moments from Marrakech Airport and close to the city’s bustling medina. The stunning sanctuary, with its unrivalled views of the nearby Atlas Mountains, provides the perfect backdrop for Morocco’s premier electronic music festival.
The soundtrack is just as special as the setting, with techno icon Laurent Garnier making his debut with a much-anticipated three-hour set. The Frenchman has been at the forefront of the underground for decades, always evolving his famously epic and emotional sound with each new album, not least his latest and great work, ‘33 Tours Et Puis S’en Vont’, which is packed with incredible musicianship. Having recently announced he will be stepping away from touring at the end of this year, this is a unique chance to see him perform in a unique and intimate location.
Jungle also lead the charge with an exclusive DJ set. One of the most respected global dance music acts of the past decade, the innovative British outfit has won over audiences worldwide with their eclectic mix of dance sounds, neo-soul, funk, nu-disco and plenty more across four studio albums, one of which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize. Alongside their captivating live performances, Jungle have built a reputation as exemplary DJs and impeccable curators, and this special set at Oasis Festival will allow them to share wide-ranging electronic influences and club sounds.
Also lining up this year will be Moroccan scene mainstay and Moroko Loko label head, Amine K who has played at every Oasis since the beginning, Manchester’s electric genre-spanning star Anz makes a debut, and HAAi will return for a second time with more of her psyched-out and textural techno.  Rinse FM host and renowned tastemaker Jyoty, who has become an integral part of the Oasis family since her first performance in 2022, makes a welcome return with her genre-blurring sets and colourful sound, and DJ and activist Nooriyah will join the dots between global music cultures. Contemporary Ninja Tune selector TSHA also makes her Oasis debut, and China’s Yu SU mixes up fourth-world ambience and left-field dance.
Oasis has always aimed to uplift local artists with its line-ups, providing a platform for many fantastic talents. This year that commitment goes up a level with an all-new stage designed by revered Moroccan artist Hassan Hajjaj and dedicated solely to Moroccan acts from the ever more fertile national scene.
Convergence label founder KOSH, another Oasis regular who now plays many of the world’s most cult clubs and will showcase his precise take on electro with an impressive live show.  Casablanca’s ANÏA, brings trance, acid, breaks, dub and techno that transcend space and time, Capra mixes up several genres with versatility, creativity and a darker edge, and Hi Jane will be on hand for an out-of-this-world electro trip. All this, plus plenty more from Moon.Wav, a groove maestro who mixes up disco, funk and house with plenty of energy, Sodfa – the trio of Candle, Qaboo Qaboo, and Kiki – who use mesmerising melodies to tell their immersive stories, as evidenced by deeply personal EPs for labels like Cafe De Anatolia, and Sound Sisters, the first women+ DJ collective in the country, who are known for revolutionising the Moroccan scene and providing a safe space for all women+ to collaborate, experiment and showcase their skills while celebrating diversity and inclusivity. Last but not least, the talented YAYA brings storytelling sounds from electro to spaced-out house and hip hop, all served up with plenty of passion.
With sun-kissed days and starlit nights soundtracked by world-class electronic music talent, Oasis Festival’s Marrakech homecoming is shaping up to be this summer’s most essential festival experience.

Voodoo Village promises more magic than ever this year

Festival announces first headliners of a varied line-up

On 7 and 8 September, the ninth edition of Voodoo Village descends on one of Brussels’ most enchanting forests. The boutique festival pulls out all the stops this year, with the best electronic beats, an ultra-diverse line-up and an even greater focus on experience. Voodoo Village, which already promises to be the ultimate closing festival of the summer, now presents the first headliners for its exhilarating musical bill.

In the shadow of Humbeek Castle, 30,000 visitors from around the world will synch to the sound of electronic beats. Guided by the ‘Uniting Souls’ principle, Voodoo Village is the out-and-out festival to unite visitors and transport festival-goers on a global tour of contemporary electronic music.

Five stages with souls of their own

This year Voodoo Village features five stages, each with their own character, visual identity and sound. Through an impressive entrance gate, festival-goers step into a unique world themed on one of the five elements of feng shui. Inspired by ancient Chinese wisdom, the five stages flow into a harmonious and energetic whole.

The Forest

The Forest is still the ultimate place of magic, where Villagers share their love of music. House, soul and disco beats echo through the trees on Saturday, featuring artists such as Denniz Cruz, Pawsa, Jimi Jules, Carista and Dj Tennis. On Sunday, the festival makes way for deeper beats, through melodic and progressive house. South African DJ and producer Black Coffee headlines on Sunday with his bewitching and unique mix of house, afrobeats and electronics, along with the melancholic feel-good music of &ME b2b and Adam Port from Keinemusik, one of the highlights of the festival’s second day.

As a festival stage, The Shelter is truly banging. Blasting from the speakers at 160 bpm we have techno, bass, minimal and heavy techno from Enrico Sangiuliano, Charlie Sparks, Indira Paganotto, I Hate Models and Adiel. It’s a haven, all weekend long, for lovers of the harder beats.

Main Stage The Yard is the one-and-only backdrop for impressive visual effects and sultry, melodic techno beats. Headliners include Artbat, ARGY and Jamie Jones, whose only Belgian festival is Voodoo Village this year. A unique opportunity to discover his music in this country.

The Yard

This year, the experiential and live stage, The Oracle, goes large with no loss of intimacy. A spiritual site inviting festival-goers to engage in self-reflection, discover new insights and connect with others. Visitors get to participate in all kinds of workshops on emotional, cognitive, social and physical well-being. Attend a cacao ceremony, for example, participate in breathwork and yoga sessions, learn to make your own kombucha, and so much more. A line-up of live international music acts and DJs brings visitors to a musical climax against the rhythms and sounds of esoteric world music and desert house. Among the guests, Parra For Cuva plays a live set. His style touches on deep house, techno and ambient, but is mostly emotion-infused. Bora Uzer also entices visitors with an extra-long live set.

The speakers at The Observatory, now a fully-fledged Voodoo Village stage, put out mostly trance and techno sounds this time around, by the likes of Marlon Hoffstadt, Malugi and KiNK (Live). New this year is the boiler-room effect. Festival goers are free to dance anywhere, not just in front of the DJs, but behind them. A unique experience guaranteed.

The Oracle

‘We want our visitors to feel free to be themselves’, says festival organiser Maxim Dekegel“With an intoxicating cocktail of music, art and culture, Voodoo Village creates a warm, community feel like no other festival. A unique formula that is catching on. One in ten visitors comes from abroad, from France, the Netherlands and Germany, the US and even Mexico.”‘We owe this global interest to our collaboration with international stage hosts such as Brunch in the Park, The Gardens of Babylon and labels like Life&Death, Club Haert Broken and Mutual Pleasure belonging to DJ Partiboi69. And then there are our headliners Black Coffee and Adam Port b2b with &ME from Keinemusik. The festival season has just begun and the weekend tickets have already sold out. After last year’s sell-out edition, we are delighted to see that Voodoo Village is already thriving as the festival-season closer.”

Mathame’s new ‘NEO’ residency at Amnesia announces full line-up

Tickets: https://bit.ly/3WJfDQs
NEO | Mathame | Amnesia

Eight dates promise to weave a spiritual journey through what is seen and heard. NEO has unveiled its line-up and promises a distinctive experience from June 7 to July 5, and from September 13 to 27, featuring names like The Blaze (DJ Set), Mind Against, NTO, and Ame.

There is a common thread between Amnesia and Mathame: mysticism, which strengthens and empowers both parties. The nightclub, inaugurated in the 70s, and the Italian duo always return to their roots to thrive in the present and shape an unusual and authentic future that they bring to life.

There is no doubt about the reason for this venture. Amnesia has chosen to give space to NEO, Mathame’s new residency, under the HORIZON framework, aiming to provide the audience not only with a melodic techno event but also a cinematic experience with a setup, development and climax.

The brothers draw inspiration for their melodies from classical music and nature, blending calmness with euphoria to orchestrate a journey that touches our emotional fibers. In each performance, they consider the context of the venue to plan the set. The story they develop at a festival is not the same as in a small club. So, we wonder: What story will they tell in an eight-date residency?

The intrigue is palpable. The line-up announcement has also surprised us with a theme for each date. These have a profound focus that we will soon learn more about: Foundation, Glory, Victory, Beauty, Severity, Mercy, Understanding and Wisdom.

The first chapter of this musical tale will feature Anfisa Letyago and Lyke. The following chapters include Mind Against, Olympe, Overmono (DJ Set), Parisi, Laherte, The Blaze (DJ Set), Kandarta, AME (live) B2B Trikk, Brina Knauss, Sona, Jan Blomqvist, Alex Wann,  NTO (Live), Pole Position, and special guests yet to be revealed.

A line-up that will undoubtedly mark a before and after in the relationship between melodic techno and Amnesia’s terrace. Everything is about to begin; get your tickets here.

Today, the World’s No. 1 Club reveals the complete roster of global electronic stars lined up to join them, every Monday from 24 June to 9 September.
No one in electronic music can match the ambition and scale of an Eric Prydz show. The GRAMMY-nominated Swedish superstar is best known for his visionary HOLO concept, which left audiences around the world stunned, including at Hï Ibiza last summer where the pioneering spectacle was adapted specially for the venue. The combination of Prydz’s relentless creativity and the most technologically advanced club on the planet was such a winning combination that the producer will return in 2024 with [CELL], an all new, never-before-seen immersive concept. Cloaked in mystery, [CELL] needs to be seen to be believed and will take you deep into the trail-blazing world of Eric Prydz. An epic soundtrack and larger-than-life stage production will set a new benchmark for nightlife innovation.
The Platinum-selling artist will be joined each week by a suitably epic mix of guests from across the electronic spectrum, including special guest appearances from global techno titan Adam Beyer, who will perform 6 shows across the summer. Also performing will be artful Ukrainian producer 8Kays, dynamic acid and techno specialist Airrica, accomplished Italian tastemaker Anfisa Letyago, Brazil’s legendary techno export DJ Anna, long-time Pryda Recordings label star Cristoph, Beatport’s Number 1 bestselling producer Eli Brown, the soul driven sounds of J Ribbon, prog house champion Kevin de Vries, majestic melody man Kölsch, exciting young Serbian star Lanna, US-born Afro house original Layla Benitez, and new school prog house innovator Miss Monique.
Hï Ibiza is the perfect location for Prydz’s audio-visual experimentations. The futuristic club has revolutionised the nightlife landscape of Ibiza, heralding a new era of club culture through pioneering technology, cutting edge production and unparalleled atmosphere. Immersive production and bold future-facing design permeate all areas of the venue, which has been voted the World’s #1 Club in DJ Mag’s three years running in the annual Top 100 Clubs poll.
After the roaring success of last year, the Club Room will again be a hotbed of electronic freshness on Mondays this summer, with Trick label head and global tech house ambassador Patrick Topping at the helm. His own electric sets will be backed up by a who’s who of the underground once more. This includes big room techno hero Alan Fitzpatrick, breakout UK star Danny Bond, cultured party starter DJ BORING, the unrelenting all round excellence of TSHA, the buoyant and eclectic sounds of Elkka, no-holds barred energy of Ewan Mcvicar, vibrant Berlin house + techno favourite Fka.m4a, contemporary deep tech from Florentia, high energy trance and techno talent Hannah Laing, vocal infused house man John Summit, scintillating up front beats from Josh Micky, serene prog house from Korolova, peak time techno from La La, infectious house from UK chart toppers LF System, the anything-goes electronics of Man Power, neo-soul, tech and deepness from Melle Brown, driving melodic grooves from Mha Iri, technical peak time strength from Paige Tomlinson and psychedelic and funk infused house from Shaded.

On May 17, All Day I Dream family member Fulltone is poised to return to the label, transporting listeners into a state of serenity with the release of his latest body of work, the Alba EP. This EP promises a journey into the depths of organic and melodic house music, blending diverse beats, hypnotic rhythms, and ethereal melodies into a beautiful tapestry of sound.

Rooted in his upbringing amidst a wide variety of musical influences, including the likes of Alan Parsons, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, and Trentemøller, Fulltone’s sonic palette has been shaped by a diverse array of sounds spanning genres and generations. A multi-instrumentalist at heart, Fulltone has mastered many tools of the trade, from more common instruments like the guitar, keyboards, and bass guitar, to rare treasures like the Greek Bouzouki, Turkish Cumbus, and Turkish Saz. Having already released eleven tracks on All Day I Dream, Fulltone has contributed many great works to the ADID catalog.

In crafting the Alba EP, Fulltone embraces the endless expanse of creativity. Reflecting on the elusive nature of inspiration, he compares it to the act of fishing, where patience and persistence are essential to reel in moments of brilliance. “Sometimes you catch a fish immediately, sometimes it takes hours or days, but you won’t catch any fish unless you go to the sea with a fishing line. In my case, the sea is my studio and the fishing line is my instruments.”

A standout track from the Alba EP is ‘Make Believe’, featuring vocals from Shyam P. The track begins with an elaborate percussive pattern, instantly kicking things off with a groove. As a lone synth note is introduced, tension rises as energy slowly builds. When a deep bass enters the mix, we hear Shyam P’s vocals for the first time, instructing the listener to “make believe”. In the latter half of the track, playful melodies juxtapose commanding low ends, creating a serene oasis covering the full spectrum of sound.

In the months following the Alba EP release, Fulltone has an exciting lineup of releases and live performances. He’ll drop a single on Klassified and a collaborative EP with Parallelle during the Summer. On the tour front, catch Fulltone at Sandbox Festival in Gouna on May 17th, Goat Community festival in Portugal on July 7th, Geneva on July 10th, and a Canada tour at the end of July covering Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Plus, mark your calendars to catch Fulltone performing at All Day I Dream Ibiza on September 23rd, with more ADID dates to come.

The Alba EP by Fulltone will be available digitally on all major streaming platforms on May 17, 2024, and physical records will be available June 14, courtesy of All Day I Dream.
