Eric Prydz has introduced a brand-new docuseries centered around Holosphere 2.0, offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at what’s being hailed as the most ambitious production ever staged in Ibiza.

Years in development, this next-level audiovisual performance is now a weekly highlight at the island’s newest venue, [UNVRS]. Since launching earlier this month, Prydz’s residency has already generated major buzz, with clips from the debut night capturing the show’s jaw-dropping scale.

The three-part docuseries explores the journey from concept to execution. The first episode, Building The Sphere, is now streaming on YouTube and gives fans a rare look into the creative and technical process behind the spectacle.

Leveraging [UNVRS]’s cutting-edge tech, Holosphere 2.0 blends custom visuals, layered LEDs, and immersive 3D holograms. Visual mastermind GMUNK and a team of digital artists have crafted stunning 360° imagery—ranging from glowing plasma spheres to glass-like orbs—that bring the centerpiece to life.

At the core of the show is an eight-meter-tall, eight-tonne transparent sphere, engineered with extreme precision. The team describes it as walking a fine line between structural resilience and near-invisible transparency.
