Daft Punk To Celebrate 10th Anniversary Of ‘Random Access Memories’ With Special Edition

It’s hard to believe it’s been ten years since Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories first changed the way dance music was perceived.

Now to celebrate this milestone moment, Daft Punk is dropping an anniversary edition of the album with 35 minutes of unreleased music.

The album will be out May 12 and includes unheard demos and outtakes from the recording of the celebrated LP.

In 2014, Random Access Memories won five Grammys including Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, and Best Dance/Electronica Album.

This body of the work was the duo’s last full-length album and contained gigantic hits like “Get Lucky (feat. Pharell Williams & Nile Rogers)” and “Instant Crush (feat. Julian Casablancas).,” all of which will be featured on the anniversary edition.

Although the duo officially retired in 2021, member Thomas Bangalter did announce he will be releasing a first solo LP in 2023, his since their split. But the album will have no electronic production and is a score for the ballet “Mythologies”.

Check out the trailer below for Daft Punk’s 10th-anniversary edition of Random Access Memories and the album can be pre-ordered here.
