Chicago Sound Takes Over Tulum: Destination Unknown Festival Announces Second Wave Lineup

Chicago’s iconic house music scene is heading to Tulum, and the inaugural Destination Unknown festival just got even bigger. Joining headliners Green Velvet, Felix da Housecat, and Gene Farris are newly announced artists Lee Reynolds, Karsten Sollors, Dani Deahl, Xenia Wolf, and more. This three-day celebration promises to bring the heartbeat of Chicago house straight to the beaches of Tulum for an unforgettable celebration of sound and culture.

Happening January 9–11, 2025, Destination Unknown follows the 40th anniversary of house music, making it a landmark event for the genre that Chicago gave to the world. Anchored by a flagship event hosted by Green Velvet at the iconic IT Tulum, the festival spans intimate and large-scale venues, the festival is a true celebration of house music’s past, present, and future—all against the stunning backdrop of Tulum.

Packages are on sale now and include accommodations for 4 nights, transportation between the airport, hotel, and festival area, as well as admission to all three days of the festival’s beach parties.
