Broadwick Live To Open DRUMSHEDS, A New London Venue In A Former IKEA

Broadwick Live, the team behind Printworks and other UK music spaces, is adding another venue to their repertoire, a London space called DRUMSHEDS.

DRUMSHEDS will come to life in a former 608,000-square-foot Tottenham IKEA warehouse able to hold more than 15,000 people.

The space claims it will be “more impactful than anything London has seen” and will have a “totally new concept” to its namesake, The Drumsheds, previously located in Meridian Water and shut down in January 2022.

EDM Maniac previously reported that Printworks has been teasing big news coming today, posting a video of a caterpillar coming up to what looks to be an old IKEA.

DRUMSHEDS will open this September with some of the same industrial features still intact such as lift shafts, loading bays, sprawling floors, and machinery.

Simeon Aldred, Director of Strategy at Broadwick Live said, “Broadwick’s mission has always been to build brands that deliver unrivaled, live experiences that create real impact. We are proud to announce DRUMSHEDS, set to be London’s most impactful cultural space of its kind, set across 608,000 sq ft in North London.”

This will be yet another Broadwick Live venue to add to their portfolio already consisting of Beams, Depot Mayfield, and the recently shut down Printworks, continuing the legacy of the beloved space.

The opening program has not yet been revealed, but it could come later today in Printworks’ full announcement they’ve been teasing.
