If you can’t make it to the club this year, Apple Music has your New Year’s entertainment covered. This New Year’s Eve, the streaming giant will host a special NYE livestream with performances from Peggy Gou, Honey Dijon and KAYTRANADA.
Apple Music Live: NYE will kick off this Sunday, December 31 at 10PM ET / 7PM PT. All three sets, which were previously recorded at a warehouse party in Brooklyn, New York, will be streamed on Apple Music and Apple TV+. Each performance will also be available for listening on Apple Music’s dedicated DJ Mixes page after the conclusion of the livestream.
Two-time Grammy-winning producer KAYTRANADA will start the New Year’s celebration with a tasteful fusion of hip-hop, R&B and house music before dance music legend Honey Dijon controls the decks in the second timeslot.
“A New Year’s Eve mix is a fresh start, we’re going into a new chapter. So I try to bring that sense of lightness, freshness, joy, renewal, and fun,” Honey Dijon said in a press release. “I just try to really bring my culture and my sound. I stand on so many incredible shoulders of black queer people who have created house music, so I always like to teach, entertain, and bring joy.”
Finally, club sensation Peggy Gou will ring in the new year in style. Gou’s standout 2023 was bolstered by her viral single “It Goes Like (Nanana)” on the road to being voted the world’s No. 1 house DJ in DJ Mag’s 2023 Top 100 DJs poll.
Discussing her New Year’s set and the year ahead in a press release, Gou said, “I don’t really like to talk about what to expect or what not to expect, so my fans should expect the unexpected in 2024.”
