Anyma Announces Release Date Of Debut Album ‘GENESYS’ During Tomorrowland Set

Published at

This past weekend during Tomorrowland weekend one, Tale of Us‘ Matteo Milleri confirmed that he will release GENESYS, his debut album under his solo project Anyma, on August 11.

Tomorrowland is always a festival full of once-in-a-lifetime events, debuts, and big news, and during his solo GENESYS set on the Freedom stage, Anyma dropped a bomb (other than the massive melodic techno drops that have shaken modern dance music to its core).

This was the first whole GENESYS performance live-streamed to the entire world. It contained mind-bending visuals including a live performance of his track with Grimes, “Welcome To The Opera.”

During the song, Anyma’s signature robot visuals interacted with a real-life Grimes who flew above the stage during a dramatic moment of pure cinematic mastery.

And to cap off the life-changing set, Milleri confirmed a late summer release date for his debut Anyma album, the first LP from either member of Tale of Us since 2017’s Endless.

Check out the debut live performance of Anyma and Grimes’ “Welcome To The Opera” at Tomorrowland 2023 below:
